The latest trends in our generation nowadays are having perfect bodies and features like having 11-line abs and perfect lips. These ideas of what is Beautiful makes us often feel like we are not even though we are. Yes, we can all alter out outside appearance with a nice nail, haircut, trending hair colors, branded clothes or a little make up, but fixing the person who is inside is not easy. What we should all focus on is how to be the best version of ourselves both physically and mentally.
So, in this post I will be sharing with you my 8 tips to be ‘’That Girl”. So, let’s dive into it!
Morning routine
How many of us are guilty of reaching our phones the moments after waking up? (Raise your hand) I know it can be so temping, scrolling through social media, checking new updates, mobile phones can play a crucial role in our daily lives and offer numerous benefits, it’s essential to use them, but they are also a major source of Distraction! Seeing or reading something negative first thing in the morning can trigger your stress response and put you on edge for the rest of the day. It may be weird at first, but by not checking your phone as soon as your eyes open, you’ll be priming yourself for a healthier mindset and higher productivity throughout the day.
So please, don’t check your phone the moment you wake up. Get up! Open your blinds and be grateful for another day. Make small changes that you can keep first by simply making your bed, then start your morning off with some warm lemon water.
Yoga
Even if you don’t fancy yourself a ‘’morning person’’, moving first thing in the morning is a great way to set an intention for your day. I incorporate yoga in my daily morning routine before going to work. Trust me you will absolutely feel better even after few minutes of morning yoga. It’s not only wakes you up but allows you to focus on what you want to accomplish.

Glowing up is never complete without Skincare! Find a simple skincare routine that you could stick with. Read
The Pivot Year By: Brianna Wiest
Picked up reading as a hobby, reading few pages a day can make you calmer, smarter and focused. Trust me. I love reading, I set myself the goal to read at least 10 minutes a day. This challenge helps me on many levels. My favorite times to sit down with a good cup of tea and dedicate time to reading are right before bed, it helped me fall asleep easier. Keeping up with the habit showed me that I was capable of achieving something, I also become more productive, and help boosted my self- worth. It improves my vocabulary, increases my knowledge and boost my concentration and memory. It is also an amazing stress reliever! as it allows me to escape, at least for a short while from everyday worries.
I hope people view reading as a form of self-care, to support their mental wellness. I want you to start with reading one book, one page or one paragraph and watch how your life becomes more meaningful, contented and open thousands of possibilities. No matter what type of book you choose, simply reading few pages when you can, is what counts.
Recommended book The Pivot Year By: Brianna Wiest if you need an extra dose of motivation, this book is worth reading.
Workout
Sometimes when I feel lazy or unmotivated I will force myself to workout, it’s my surefire way to get rid of my laziness. It’s proven! I’m into Pilates right now, when you think of Pilates, those complicated-looking machine called Pilates reformers may come to your mind and seem intimidating. But doing Pilates doesn’t require a machine! There are plenty of online classes or even on YouTube that can teach you how to do Pilates on a mat like I was doing. Just few minutes of exercise can increase energy levels and improve your moods. So, if you are feeling down, anxious or lazy try to get up and start moving! If you hate working out or too lazy to do so, it’s okay take it one step a time. It’s hard to reinvent yourself overnight don’t stress about having a perfect routine, or if you’re having difficulty fitting exercise into your day, you can start by heading out for a morning walk and once in a while try to find a way to exercise that is convenient and fun. After a few months this thing will be become habitual.

Journalling
Writing a journal is self-care. It helps you organized your thoughts; you can express your ideas and feelings in private, you can literally write anything down because it doesn’t judge. What really matters here is that you’ll keep up the habit. My main use of journal is to keep track my emotions, daily task, habits and of course, Goals.
I highly recommended to create your goal list, it’s either by writing in journal notebook or app, now pick one thing from that list and do it consecutively for 30 days. It will be hard at first and it will require lots of self-discipline and consistency, this two is the key factor here. After 30 days of doing, it you will find it’s become a positive habit that you never thought you could. Once you reach this point, pick the next thing on the list. Find means of achieving those goals. You need to picture the person you want to be, label it, and aim to be that person at all costs. In the process I want you to appreciate the growth, don’t give up or get frustrated if it’s not going fast enough. I’m on the same path. In the end it will be all come together, and it will be all worth it.
Become confidently Beautiful
Confidence can make anybody more beautiful. Being confident with who you are inside and out is the biggest part of coming into your own. If you lack pleasing physical attributes but you carry yourself with grace and confidence, you will have this inner ‘’glow’’ and people will fall inlove with your personality, and remember you, just by how you carry yourself. So, be confident! And, even if you don’t feel confident, fake it until you make it! I hope that all of you chose to accept the beauty you have to offer in this world. Because everyone is beautiful, and I think many of us forget that sometimes.
Kindness
It’s been said that ‘’kindness makes you the most beautiful person in the world, no matter what you look like’’ true! even if you are the most beautiful person in the universe, but you have bad personality. It will make you less attractive.
Did you know that kindness can give you a healthy happy glow? Recent research in the fields of psychology, neuroscience, and wellness has shed light on just how powerful a force of kindness can be.
Acts of kindness our body produces hormones called serotonin -a ‘’happy hormone’’ as it makes us feel happy and relieves anxiety. Our body also produces the ‘’feel good’ ’hormone Dopamine which make us feel like a natural high. So, when we do something kind, we get kick out it. kindness also reduces levels of ‘’ stress hormone’’ cortisol which slows aging!
It doesn’t need to be a grand gesture and it doesn’t need to cost you any money. It can be something small, like leaving a positive review in this post can make my day charr! (haha). Smiling, your smile can make someone’s day or by simply paying someone a compliment about his/her beauty today. Just because we accept who we are doesn’t mean we don’t like getting compliments every once in a while, right? It could just be the confidence booster someone needs.
If you are reading this my advice for you is to see yourself as the Beautiful person you are.
So, there you have it- the roadmap to becoming ‘’That Girl’’ remember, this isn’t about being the perfect girl. It’s about being the best version of yourself. Set realistic commitments and stick to them. Enjoy the process, just take one step at a time, and soon you’ll find yourself living a life that uniquely yours. You’ve got this Beautiful!
